To this end, we not only comply with the laws and regulations of each country and region, but we also monitor and engage in procurement activities that enable fair and ethical transactions.
Group Procurement Policy and Group Procurement Guidelines
We manufacture products in countries and regions around the world, mainly in China and ASEAN countries. There are a wide range of processes involved in the sourcing of raw materials, sewing, and transportation of products before they are produced and delivered to our customers. In this complex supply chain, we recognize that fair and ethical procurement activity is an important issue on sustainability. In 2016, we began formulating our own “Group Procurement Policy” and “Group Procurement Guidelines”, which specify the human rights, social, environmental, and governance standards to be observed in order to promote socially and environmentally responsible procurement activities. Since then, we have been promoting the conclusion of partnership agreements with production factories through monitoring audits and on-site inspections of factories based on the Group Procurement Policy.
List of Specified Partner Suppliers（As of September 2025）
We publish our supplier list as a means to ensure responsible production practices. We published the names and locations of 47 companies in fiscal 2024, based on direct trade with the and ST HD Group. In fiscal 2025, we added more details, including the name of the factory and the number of women employed. We review and select suppliers based on our own criteria, publicly disclosing those suppliers who agree with our policies and purpose. The and ST HD Group ensures the transparency of corporate activities, seeking to enhance corporate value of all parties and expand the scope and items monitored over the medium to long term.

Strengthening Engagement Through Discussion
The and ST HD Group has established a procurement policy and guidelines, and we continue to strengthen engagement with suppliers through CSR monitoring. Representatives of our Products Sourcing & Procurement Department/CSR Procurement Team conduct CSR monitoring by visiting factories to confirm policies, work environments, and hygiene at production sites, taking opportunities to engage in discussions. The representatives share production methods aimed at improving quality and reducing environmental impact, as well as introducing work styles that improve the mental and physical health of employees. In this way and others, we collaborate with suppliers to make improvements.
Contributing to Local Human Resource Development Through a Centralized Production Management System
We have implemented a new factory management system to centralize product ordering for our factories and production control data. Until now, progression along each supply chain and the status of each factory were managed separately, but this new system offers digital order and production management operations and centralized management and system integration from production planning to purchase accounting along the value chain. With these upgrades, we can not only improve work efficiency both for internal and external stakeholders, but we can also help prevent human error and strengthen governance. Particularly in working with local staff in China and ASEAN countries, our main production areas, it would take quite some time to check information before we introduced this system. The new system has also contributed to human resource development, as seen in the improved digital skills among local staff.
