Human Rights

Our Group has identified materialities (important issues) surrounding our business to contribute to solving social challenges and ensure sustainable growth for the future. Recognizing the respect for human rights as a matter of utmost priority, we established the Group's first "Human Rights Policy" in 2025. In accordance with this policy, we will embrace diversity and promote initiatives to respect human rights through continuous dialogue with all stakeholders.

Human Rights Policy

We believe that to realize its Corporate Philosophy of "Be a person needed, be a company needed", every individual must mutually recognize diversity, and their human rights and individuality must be respected. We hereby establish this Philosophy on Human Rights based on international human rights norms, namely the United Nations (UN) "International Bill of Human Rights," the "Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights," and the International Labour Organization (ILO) "Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work." We will implement initiatives across the entire Group to practice the respect for human rights.

Human Rights Due Diligence

To fulfill our responsibility to respect human rights, we will establish and continuously implement a mechanism for Human Rights Due Diligence. Through this, we will strive to identify, assess, prevent, and mitigate adverse human rights impacts throughout our business activities and supply chain.

Remediation and Grievance Mechanisms

We are committed to addressing and remedying any adverse human rights impacts through appropriate means should they be identified. In addition to our customer support and inquiry channels, we have established an internal reporting system (Whistle-Line) accessible to all employees—including fixed-term employees both in Japan and overseas. We also maintain a Supplier Hotline to ensure fair, equitable, and transparent transactions. The anonymity and confidentiality of all reports are strictly maintained, with rigorous measures in place to ensure that no individual suffers detrimental treatment as a result of seeking consultation. The operational status of these systems is appropriately reported to the Compliance Committee.
